Sports Massage Therapy
A deep tissue style massage that is invigorating and rejuvenating. Soft tissue manipulation helps prevent injury for athletes from all genres of sporting activity.
Massage improves the muscle recovery period and releases any stress or tension that muscles may be holding on to.
Massage will vary from client to client depending on areas of focus, pain levels, tolerance and specific outcome requirements.
The sessions are modified to pre-event, post-event, restorative and rehabilitative treatments and are always client focused.
Sessions can be booked for 60 minutes or 90 minutes, depending on your needs and are suitable for treatment post-training or competition to help with recovery.
During the build-up to events, a session 1 week before and no sooner than 3 days after is recommended. This gives the natural inflammation process in the body time to calm down before and after your event.
Monthly appointments are a good option for all athletes wanting to benefit from the long term effects of balanced stability and mobility, avoiding muscle tightness and soreness by ensuring optimal muscle condition.
